Refund Policy

Transparency in Every Contribution

General Refund Rule

At Help Point, we work diligently to ensure your donations are utilized immediately for the needy in Murshidabad. As these are voluntary charitable contributions (Zakat, Sadaqah, Fitra), we generally do not offer refunds once the donation is processed and a receipt is issued.

Exceptional Cases

We understand that mistakes can happen. We will consider refund requests only under the following specific circumstances:

  • Duplicate Transaction: If you accidentally donated twice for the same cause due to a technical error.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If your card or account was used without your permission (subject to verification).
  • Incorrect Amount: If you accidentally entered an extra zero or a wrong amount while donating.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe your case falls under the exceptions above, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. Beyond 7 days, funds are typically allocated to field projects and cannot be reversed.

Please email us at zakat@helpoint.org with your Transaction ID, Date, and Reason for refund.

Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are processed back to the original payment method. It may take 5 to 10 working days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank's policy.
